At Nonna Bella, we want you to love your sourdough baking experience. Due to the nature of our products, our return policy varies by item type. Please see below for details.

Nonna Bella Dehydrated Sourdough Starter

Our 10g Nonna Bella Dehydrated Sourdough Starter is a consumable product, so we do not accept returns unless the product is flawed or damaged upon arrival. If your starter arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at support@italiansourdough.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Print-on-Demand Items

Print-on-demand items, such as apparel and accessories, are fulfilled by a trusted production partner. Returns are accepted only for items that are damaged, defective, or not as described. To initiate a return, contact us at support@italiansourdough.com within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll work with our partner to provide a replacement or refund. Note that these items are custom-printed on demand, so returns for buyer’s remorse or sizing issues are not accepted.

Baking Essentials

Baking essentials, such as bread baskets, sourdough jars, and lames, are fulfilled by a fulfillment partner. Return policies vary by partner and are detailed in each product listing. Generally, returns are accepted for items that are damaged, defective, or not as described. You must initiate a return or dispute through the fulfillment partner within their specified timeframe—typically 15 days after order completion. Nonna Bella cannot directly process returns for these items but can assist with dispute guidance. Contact us at support@italiansourdough.com for support.

Important Notes

Non-Returnable Items: Unless damaged or defective, consumable products (like the sourdough starter) and custom print-on-demand items cannot be returned due to buyer’s remorse.
Shipping Costs: For approved returns, return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item was damaged or defective.
